Delectable Dog Treats
- 12 cups oatmeal
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup oil
- 2/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 cups milk
- 1 large can solid pack pumpkin (optional)
- 3 mashed bananas (optional)
As you can tell, this recipe makes LOTS of doggy treats. You can always scale down or if you’re the ambitious type,
make all and put them in the freezer!!
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Dump everything in a LARGE bowl. Mix it together (you may get your
hands dirty here!), and shape into a good size cookie for your pup! There’s no need for rolling or cookie cutters here,
just pat them down so they’re flat. Put the cookies on the greased cookie sheet and bake for about 20-35 minutes,
depending on the size of the cookies. When time is up, take out the cookies and allow them to cool completely on top of
the stove, still on the cookie sheet. Voila! K-9 Kookies!!
